As the lead Communications Manager, I developed the organizational narrative, information infrastructure, and methods of digital engagement with a multilingual membership base and wider public.

    • Stewarded organizational mission statement change and new theory of change

    • Strategized multilingual messaging behind fundraising, political, and public awareness campaigns

    • Created and designed digital and print publications on coop membership resources and directories

    • Created messaging for press releases and timely political announcements

    • Coordinated cross-organizational communications projects

    • Redesigned the content and UX of the website in order for more intuitive navigation

    • Transitioned CRM database onto Powerbase in order to track segmented membership, donor, and broader audiences with more accuracy and internal accessibility

    • Crafted, designed, and managed newsletters

    • Invested toward peer to peer strategies and tools for grassroots fundraising

    • Managed social media

Campaigns

  • NYC Coo-op Emergency Fund

    Online digital campaign dedicated to raising funds for undocumented worker-owners who did not receive stimulus checks. Campaign resulted in raising over $100,000 in funds.

  • NYC's Future is Cooperative: Policy Platform for and by Worker Co-ops

    Grassroots citywide political campaign & website. Received endorsements from over 60 city council candidates.

  • Black Co-ops Matter Series

    Published statements of solidarity and online campaign highlighting the legacy of Black-led worker cooperatives in the wake of the 2020 BLM protests
